Horse boarding questions, answered.

Pricing & what’s included

How much does horse boarding cost at Twin Oaks Ranch?

Stall board is $1,000 per month and pasture board is $600 per month. Both include use of the 200′ × 100′ covered, lighted arena, the 70′ covered round pen and the red light therapy solarium. See our Texas horse boarding cost guide for how that compares.

What is included in stall board?

A designated 12′ × 12′ stall in the covered barn, shavings, a stall fan, hay, an automatic waterer, day or night turnout in a manager-assigned group pasture, supplements fed at no charge, and use of every facility amenity.

What is included in pasture board?

Year-round use of a large improved pasture with run-in sheds and live-oak shade, hay supplemented when conditions require, and use of barn amenities including the covered arena and red light solarium. Horses are grouped by temperament and age.

Stall board or pasture board — which is right for my horse?

Stall board suits horses in regular work, seniors, horses on a controlled diet and horses that need protection from the summer sun. Pasture board suits easy keepers that do well living out with a herd. Not sure? We’ll talk it through on your tour.

Care, feed & turnout

Can my horse have a special feed plan or supplements?

Yes. Individual feed plans are accepted, and supplements are fed at no extra charge.

Do you offer day or night turnout?

Yes. Stall-board horses get day time or night time turnout in a manager-designated group pasture. Many owners choose night turnout through the Texas summer to keep their horse out of the midday heat.

How do you keep horses cool in summer?

Every stall has its own closed-motor fan, stalls sit inside a covered, open-sided barn, pastures have run-in sheds and big live oaks for shade, and the year-round pond gives turned-out horses a place to wade in and cool off.

Is fresh water always available?

Yes — every stall has an automatic water bowl, and pastures have water year-round.

Facility & arena use

Is your arena available for non-boarders?

For insurance reasons the arena is reserved for boarders. If you’d like to board for one or two days, you’re welcome to all of our amenities during your stay — call for current day pricing.

Do you offer overnight or short-term stays?

Yes. We’re about ten minutes off I-10 at Sealy, which makes us an easy layover for horses hauling across Texas. Call (909) 365-9798 for availability and current day rates.

Can I park my trailer at the ranch?

Yes — trailer storage is available for an additional charge.

Do you ever have flooding?

The property sits about 30 feet above street level. We have excellent drainage and have spent a lot of time not only planning around it but also improving it.

What amenities do riders get?

A heated and air-conditioned tack room, personal lockers, a mini fridge for medication storage, a restroom with shower, shaded picnic tables, and a covered, fully lighted barn, arena and round pen.

Is the property easy to get to?
